Introduction

My name is Katie Gardner and I'm a junior Journalism major at the University of New Hampshire. I am currently in English 621: Writing and Reporting the News I and will use this blog to post my writing for the course.

I am from a small town in the middle of New Hampshire and I have always loved to write. Currently I am a staff writer for The New Hampshire (TNH), the UNH student publication, and during the summer of 2012 I was a news intern at The Citizen of Laconia in Laconia, NH.

I hope to one day be a writer, and eventually an editor, for a popular women's magazine, such as Cosmopolitan or Glamour. My main goal in life is to be an author though and I am currently working on a novel for young adults.
